On July, 18 (Monday) the Stari Grad Brass orchestra which this year celebrates their 140th anniversary together with their special guests from Vrboska, Kaštilac male klapa, will perform a concert on the Škor Square at 9,30 pm.
Hvar is well known as the island of wine so Association of Hvar winemakers invites you to Wine Tasting which will take place on the beautiful Škor Square in Stari Grad with participation of special guest Žaklina, Macedonian vocal and guitar player being Hvar resident for the last 10 years. Wine tasting will take place at 9 pm on July, 19 (Tuesday)
Enjoy the performance of Stella Maris mixed choir from the town of Hvar, conducted by Vinka Šurlin on the Velo Podloža Square on July, 20 (Wednesday) at 9,30 pm.
As a gift for its 2400th anniversary of Stari Grad, Margaretha and Lorenzo Nardocci, our regular guests from Norway and Italy will perform a concert of modern Italian songs, composed by Moriccone, Rota, Modugno and Tenzo, named „Made in Italy“. It will take place on July, 22 (Friday) on the beautiful picturesque square Škor in Stari Grad, at 9,30 pm.
On July, 24 (Sunday), the St Cecilia choir from Jelsa will perform the concert „Folowing the Cross“ which will take place in Dominican Monastery at 9 pm.
On July, 29 and 30 in Stari Grad will take place two poetry evenings. The first one (July, 29) will be held in Biskupija where poetry will be read by Lucija Rudan whilst the second one (July, 30) which is the traditional evening of Hvar's female poets, will be held on Tvrdalj Square.
